Web Hosting: Sign up for GoDaddy

Once you finished your website, you need to publish it so the whole world can see it online. But do you know where to put all your website files? That comes the web hosting service. They provide space on their servers for you to upload your files and visible to the virtual world.

If you are a newbie, choosing the best host provider may be tedious or you may not have any idea which one to choose. I know, I’ve been there before so I will not make things complicated for you. Choose GoDaddy! (You can click the link above)

Go Daddy provides individuals and businesses with such Internet services as domain name registration and Web site hosting through its affiliates. It also offers related services and software for functions including e-mail, e-commerce, and Web-site creation. Touting discounted pricing on domain names and hosting services, Go Daddy has become the largest domain registrar accredited by ICANN (the international regulatory body for the public Internet) in the world, with more than 30 million domain names. The company has affiliates that address market niches in site registration and hosting, including Domains By Proxy and Wild West Domains. CEO Bob Parsons owns the company, which he founded in 1997.

I’ve been using their service several years already. The best thing with their service is the ease of doing the process very smoothly specially for beginners. Let’s say you want to create a blog. You don’t need to make a blog website to do that. Just go to your GoDaddy account, choose the blog application to be installed on your account and that’s it. They will install the blog for you as you wish. No need to configure a lot of things. All will be set base on your desired settings. You just need to do the enhancement later after the setup. Same thing if you want to create other sites as well like CMS, Social Networking, Forum, etc.

In my future article I will discuss further on setting up your site using GoDaddy.
